Riverlea Bed & Breakfast is set on 15 acres situated just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD (and only 10 minutes from the end of the Eastern Freeway) in the picturesque Yarra Valley wine region and is the closest B&B to the city in a vineyard setting, being less than 5km from Eastland shopping centre in Ringwood. There is also an a la carte Restaurant on site known as “Restaurant 1912”.

We have two luxurious and romantic Bed & Breakfast suites situated one level above the Restaurant on the first floor. Each suite is decorated in a different “old world” provincial style – so one is called the “Irish Room” and the other the “French Room”.

Both suites feature a large combination bedroom and sitting room, with a queen size bed, a couch, a dining setting for two, plus all modern conveniences – reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV, DVD, a small fridge plus a full stereo system including CD player, radio and cassette deck, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is also an open fireplace in each suite which is so cosy and welcoming in the colder months.

The second room in each suite is a spacious private bathroom, featuring a large double person spa bath, plus separate shower, WC and vanity unit with fully-lit make-up mirror and heating. In both suites, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, soap, shampoo and conditioner are all supplied along with large fluffy bath towels, hand towels and face cloths plus bath-robes. Both suites also have their own balcony with beautiful panoramic views of Riverlea and the surrounding hills, and both balconies feature 2 chairs and a table.

Included with every booking is a complimentary cheese platter plus chocolates accompanied by your drink of choice from a soft drink, to a beer, or a mixed drink to a glass of any wine from our standard or medium price ranges shown on our “Restaurant 1912” wine list at the time. Wines continually change according to season, vintage and availability so please call us to have a copy of our current wine list faxed or emailed to you.

A hearty English-style breakfast is also included in your booking (see Breakfast Menu link). Breakfast can be served in your room, or on your balcony (weather permitting) or down in the Restaurant – you choose!
